One of our Fuel Doctors recently
worked on an Alfa Romeo 147 07 reg. The owner had put diesel in a petrol
tank, however they hadn't driven it. The approach for the job was to go all out
from neck with a big pipe. The gauge went down nicely however when they put £50
worth of fuel in it didn't move for a while, however after a few minutes
it went to a 1/4 full. The car then started easily - it was a successful fuel
drain.
